For Children Ages 4–12

Building Skills, Confidence, and Joy Through Ballroom Dance
At Dance Harmony, children’s dance education is one of our core passions. Our program provides exceptional ballroom and Latin instruction in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Small Class Sizes
Our group classes are intentionally limited to 8–12 students, allowing our instructors to provide individual guidance, closely monitor each dancer’s progress, and help every child build strong fundamentals at an appropriate pace.
More Than Just Dance
Ballroom and Latin dance are about more than learning steps. Through structured instruction, partner work, and consistent practice, children develop discipline, focus, teamwork, confidence, musicality, and self-expression—skills that benefit them both on and off the dance floor.
What to Expect
Each class combines structured instruction with technical exercises, musical activities, partner work, and choreography. Students develop posture, balance, coordination, strength, rhythm, and body awareness while learning to work respectfully with partners and classmates.
Students train in one of two groups based on their experience and current level. This structure gives beginners a strong foundation and allows experienced dancers to continue progressing through Bronze and Silver material.

Your Child’s Instructors
Classes are taught by Dance Harmony co-founders Martin and Liene Reinbold, university-trained dance professionals and former international competitors. Both are certified dance teachers and adjudicators, each with more than 25 years of teaching experience.
Their teaching combines high technical standards with patience, encouragement, and an understanding of how young dancers learn. The emphasis is not only on correct technique, but also on confidence, discipline, and a lasting enjoyment of dance.
Group 1 — Newcomer and Beginner Level
Group 1 will concentrate on fundamental dance technique, balance, posture, basic movements, and musicality in four dances: Waltz, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, and Jive. As the dancers progress, the curriculum will expand to six dances with the addition of Tango and Rumba.

Group 2 will continue work on the full Bronze syllabus elements and add elements from the Silver Level in seven dances: Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, and Jive. As the dancers progress, the curriculum will expand to nine dances with the addition of Viennese Waltz and Slow Foxtrot.
