Kyle Larsen

Dance Teacher, Choreographer

Kyle “Honey” Larsen is accredited with ISTD, NDCA and DIVIDA. She was Dance Director at Stepping Out Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance Studios in NYC and later was Dance Director at Daza Dance in Atl., where she created and ran Student Programming, teacher training and the Student Dance Company. She teaches all styles, specializing in Acting for Dance.
She started her ballroom career onstage in NYC with “American Ballroom Theatre” after training and performing as a ballerina and in musical theatre productions. She’s won Professional Ballroom & Swing Dance Championships with partner Buddy Stotts, including The U S Open Swing Dance Championships; and won 1st place Jack n Jill with Ramiro Gonzales in West Coast Swing.
She recently choreographed the Lindy Hop segment for Sir Rosevelt and Zac Brown’s music video for their hit “Sunday Finest”. And currently is choreographer for “Red, Hot and Cole”. Kyle directed and choreographed regionally, including “Private Lives”, “The Guys”, “Nunsense” and “The Blonde Songbook”. In Atlanta she directed “A Chorus Line”, “White Christmas” and “42nd Street” (Best Director) and co-wrote and directed “The Georgia Senior Follies 2014″. She’s looking forward to directing “Fiddler On the Roof” this Fall.
As an actress, she recently appeared onscreen in the feature film, “Vanished Left Behind” and on TV in “Fatal Attraction” and “Homicide Hunters”. Kyle was presented “Award of Excellence” for Best Actress in “Bridal Veils”! Together with Buddy Stotts, they performed as the Comedy Team of “Buddy and Honey”, the featured vaudeville act in “Big Band at the Savoy” in Myrtle Beach. Later, that launched them into stand up comedy where they featured and headlined in Comedy Clubs across the US. On TV, in Robert Townsend’s “Partners in Crime” and were Atlanta finalists in the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent!”
